Grain Stability (Stowage Plan)
Estumar provides end-to-end Grain Stability support as a service—covering calculations, stowage plan review, and on-site or remote supervision. Led by master mariners and approved instructors, we translate the IMO Grain Code into practical steps that keep your loading safe, compliant, and on schedule.
Scope & supervision. We attend or remote-assist planning and loading for bulk grain—full and partially filled holds, trimming/levelling, securing measures, and documentation control. We review DoA and loading plans; verify stability calculations (free-surface and shifting allowances, GM corrections, angle of heel); and issue instructions to mitigate risks during loading.
Standards & alignment. Our methods and templates strictly follow the latest guidance from NCB, Transport Canada, and Australian authorities, and align with class/flag expectations and the IMO Grain Code. You receive an evidence-based survey report (photos, extracts, calc sheets) with clear recommendations and sign-off.
