Scope & supervision. We appraise and verify the full PPEM cycle (appraisal, planning, execution, monitoring); review passage plans, UKC policy, no-go areas, abort points, wheel-over positions, squat/heel allowances, and contingency anchorages; check ECDIS safety settings (safety depth/contours, SCAMIN, CATZOC use, alarms/overlays) and bridge equipment/testing (gyro, compasses, radar/AIS/GNSS, BNWAS). We evaluate BRM/BTM, master–pilot exchange, standing orders, drills, and VDR samples.

Standards & alignment. Methods align with IMO/SOLAS V, COLREGs, the ISM Code, recognized best practice (e.g., OCIMF/TMSA where applicable), and class/flag expectations. You receive an evidence-based assurance reportwith findings, risk controls, and corrective actions.

Master mariners audit PPEM, correct passage plans and ECDIS safety settings (depth/contours, SCAMIN, CATZOC), observe BRM/BTM and MPX on the bridge, and issue prioritized corrective actions aligned with SOLAS V, COLREGs, and the ISM Code.
