This video contains experience sharing material for the Long Base Line (LBL) hydroacoustic mode which can be used on almost all ranges of depths starting from "shallow waters" and into deep water projects, based on the one of the most common systems in the industry - HiPaP / APOS soft.

This video materials consist of:

- General understanding of LBL principle

- Inventory and complete planning of LBL arrays from the scratch

- Creation of LBL using automatic feature

- Creation of LBL manually

- Callibration and troubleshooting of LBL

- Operation of LBL in dynamic positioning

"Long Base Line mode" material is made for those JDPO/DPO/SDPO who never worked before in LBL mode and would like to get knowledge and understanding of the system before to face all the pressure and time deadlines when preparing and setting up LBL arrays, because normally LBL mode is a contractual condition, which has strict time limits set and leading to downtime upon overdue. Responsibilities of this downtime will lay on the Bridge Officers, responsible for operation of hydroacoustic system.

This is an unique material which is taken on the live system with all the inperfections different from the simulator. Material based on Kongsberg HiPaP system with cNode tranponders, which is most frequently used in the market for this purpose.
