Hydroacoustic Aided Inertial Navigation

The course covers HAIN (Hydroacoustic Aided Inertial Navigation), a device that is increasingly found in the offshore fleet and will be implemented throughout the world to improve the efficiency of dynamic positioning and other specific tasks.

Course content is:

- basic hardware description;

- software familiarization and use in dynamic positioning;

- common and irregular troubleshootings.

The course can be useful for all Navigators/DPO - Operational Level. The issues of use and troubleshooting are spelled in simple language using the example of a working HAIN on board a ship.
